Influence of Shading and Paclobutrazol Concentrations on Growth and Quality Characters of Three Different Turf Grasses Genera

This study was carried out in Pirmam,, Erbil Governorate - Iraq for two years, from 15 March 2020 to 2021 the spring season and September2020 September autumn season, responses of three turf grass genera, includingermuda (Cynodon dactylon L. var. cd4), Tall fescue (Festuca arrundaceae Barleroy) Creeping bent (Agrostis palustris) cultivated by seeds shading levels 0 75% sprayed with paclobutrazol concentrations at 0, 750 1500 mg. l-1. The experiment performed using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) a split-plot design factors replications. results showed that level (0%) led significant increase most studied characters like mowing number, cumulative dry weight clipping yield, root weight, total chlorophyll carbohydrate percentage superior those grown under shading. Both had no effects on color degree coverage used grasses. It also foliar spray impact traits. highest values plant density, yield were recorded when grasses unsprayed paclobutrazol, while degree, percentage, content, percent obtained mg.l-1 respectively. Significant differences shown among genera Agrostise genus significantly other only Festuca rest characteristics. As triple interactions, characteristics found open fields.
